In the middle of this summer heat wave, we were faced with a broken central air conditioner. We had no idea who to call for a replacement and certain reservations, until a friend told us about Applewood. Shortly after I phoned them, Greg came to our house. He was courteous and pleasant and sat down and explained every detail of the transaction and the unit we were interested on. In a short time this gentleman managed to calm our fears. The two gentlemen (Mike and Jason) who came to our house to install the unit were also courteous, pleasant, clean and guided us through every move they made during the installation. They explained to us how to care for and the operation of the unit. We felt like a heavy burden was lifted off us. Greg later came to our house to say hello and inspect the installation and functioning of the unit. The unit has been working fine since then. I found Applewood to be very helpful and polite. Highly recommended. I live in south Mississauga and had an air conditioner installed by a friend 2 years ago, probably not the best idea as it broke in the middle of the summer and he didn’t know why. I called the Applewood sales department thinking I needed a brand new unit. The salesman I spoke with recommended that I have a service call before I install a new unit as the unit was fairly new and could last another 20 years or so. He even told me that if it couldn’t be fixed he would take it off the price of a new unit. He then gave me the prices upfront and scheduled a service tech to come to my home. It turned out that there was some minor wiring issues that were causing the breaker to pop and a few leaks in my piping. The tech corrected the issues on the spot and saved me from purchasing a new unit after only 2 years. Thank you Applewood!
